WHAT/WHY: For Reclamation positions the act of giving blood as a mindful repossession of human brutality. While this event does not erase the countless acts of violence humans have committed and endured for millennia, a ten-minute blood draw can save up to three lives.

This event is the first in a series of community service events at the Alberta Abbey facilitated by SERVICE WORKS, an experimental platform connecting the Alberta Abbey and its community through access to social resources and information.

WHO: Organized by SERVICE WORKS in partnership with the American Red Cross at the Alberta Abbey
